DESIGN CONCEPT:
The world is full of mystery. For Frida Merchant's book “Beyond the Void,” I wanted to create an environment that truly reflects the book’s vision of black holes and the galaxy, capturing the depth and wonder of the universe.
I designed a deep black background with a colourful, central black hole. Two hands reach towards the black hole—one shimmering in purple and the other sleek in grey, symbolizing the enigma of black holes. The colour palette I used for this book branding, featuring vibrant purple and rich hues, creates a feeling of curiosity and wonder. Together these elements represent the mysteries of the universe, inviting readers to discover what lies beyond.
I aimed to give the design a galaxy-like feel, so I used a galaxy background and golden gloss for the title and branding to add a touch of elegance. The message, “Explore the mysteries of the universe with Beyond the Void,” captures the essence of this fascinating journey.
